As a recruiter faced with filling a job plagued with the constant turnover of young workers, Stephanie Klein, a corporate recruiter, placed an older person in the challenging position. Not an older worker herself, Stephanie was impressed with the experience, skill sets and values demonstrated by the candidate she had selected. History repeated itself. After continued success at matching companies with baby boomers, Stephanie founded The Boomer Group in early 2004.
Today, our staff of eight highly qualified and experienced employees has placed more than 2,000 workers in the metro Denver area. We help our clients tap into a scarce resource - the right match for their position - a smart and reliable professional who can get the job done with minimal ramp-up time.
The Boomer Group is dedicated to matching Colorado employers with the best and most experienced candidates. Active in the Colorado community, the company served as a leader in the Rose Community Foundation's Boomers Leading Change Initiative and recently received a grant from the Foundation to help baby boomers improve their job search skills.
Stephanie Klein is an experienced corporate recruiter and a former partner in a national recruiting firm. A graduate of Colorado State University with a masters degree in management, she heads a staff with 25 years of combined recruiting experience and more than 50 years of business consulting expertise. A member of the Colorado Society of Human Resource Management, Stephanie is president of the 1,300-member Colorado Human Resource Association.
